Who is the trained independent facilitator for this course?

Katie Nelson, M.Ed

She has been implementing Love & Logic techniques with children since 2000, and was trained to facilitate this course in 2005. She has the opportunity to implement weekly in her preschool classroom, and daily with her own three children.

Education: Bachelor's in Human Development & Family Studies, Master's of Education in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Utah.

WorkExperience: Currently owns and operates Hands On Preschool. Past work experience as a preschool Special Education Consultant for Davis School District, and a Head Start Lab preschool teacher in Salt Lake City.

How is the Positive Parenting course different from other Love & Logic courses that are available?

This particular course is extremely interactive and addresses actual concerns you have with your children.

Another great advantage is the lifelong support you will receive. Initially you will pay $100 for the course, but anytime you would like to come back for a "refresher" it is only $20.

Throughout the Positive Parenting course Katie offers consultant services. As a participant you are welcome to contact Katie anytime with questions or concerns.
